We at Lineo are actually in the process of getting all of the 7707 peripherals supported by the kernel. That includes the FB for the LCD display, ADC, DAC, etc ... I was planning to create a "7707 processor" entry, or leave 7709 and create a "7707-only peripherals" config entry somewhere else, once we start have working drivers.
