http's git repository

Hi all.

I want to use the latest Paul's git repository behind a proxy server.
So I have been using
http://www.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/lethal/sh-2.6.git
instead of
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/lethal/sh-2.6.git

But http's repository version is still 2.6.23-rc1...
What should I do?
