ah, then you're right, it clearly isn't selectable.  but there's more
-- even though it's typed as a bool, its help suggests it can be built
as a module.  not good.

i can at least submit a quick patch to LKML to make it selectable, and
fix the help info, but i'll take a closer look at it to see if there's
anything else about it that's out of whack.
