working on fixing pvr2/DMA (Dreamcast)

Using 2.6.22-git17 the pvr2 driver is failing (just seems to lock the
Dreamcast up) on the call to register_framebuffer

I have no idea why, and this wasn't a problem before - anybody aware of
any recent change in framebuffer code that be causing this?
