(I have mirrors of this if you need a copy of the source). There's still some consolidation that needs to happen between those and the newer Renesas versions. In the latter case, we have many ports hanging around that might be of general interest (ie, Izanagi), even if there's no real push for the part itself. The other concern is u-boot. We now have the SH7785 work which is somewhat disjoint from the SH7343 port that was done some time ago, and then ST also has their ST-40 port. We've also been looking at it for SH7756. This also needs to be desperately consolidated before we have any _more_ fragmentation. I assume ST will also be open to rebasing their ST-40 stuff on top of generic SH support in u-boot. Given that, is there really much point in dragging sh-boot along? Perhaps it's best left in a maintenance-only mode for the existing users, with the new ports leaning more towards u-boot. |
