Not everyone, but perhaps people who explicitly requests it. I'd venture to
guess out of those 140 people, only a dozen or so actually post "actively"
(strong quotes there :P) to the list. I'd like to be added at least. You
can probably go back 6 months to see who the most frequent posters are.
Also, and I don't have mailman in front of me so I forget how it's setup,
but for the linuxsh-cvs list at least you can add *@users.sourceforge.net,
since that's the only place e-mails should come in from. There shouldn't
be any outside posting to that list anyway, so it should ideally be
configured as read-only.

I'd think this would be a security risk and could open the list to abuse.
