Yes, the latest CVS of QEMU contains system emulation code that is
enough to start executing a certain SH kernel. It's quite primitive
still - no interrupts are delivered to the processor yet. I'm
currently working on fixing that up, expect to see more code posted in
the near future.

Regarding the user space emulator - it is possible to run a statically
linked busybox application using the sh4 emulator. The emulator
unfortunately still includes some bug which makes dynamically linked
apps crash.
