To let you know...
The defconfig in your git causes a reboot - again the issue seems to be
the number of DMA channels. If I shift that up to 8 it works.
>From dmesg...
DMA: Registering DMA API.
DMA: Registering sh_dmac handler (8 channels).
DMA: Registering pvr2_dmac handler (1 channel).
DMA: Registering g2_dmac handler (4 channels).
pvr2 does not work either.
