There are probably 20 or more features in GSt3 that the developers not even trying to implement at this point. (Not that they're needed just yet.) Voice count is the most basic way that Tascam markets the different revisions of Gst2 and Gst3. It's always been that way. To ignore it would be silly. And, actually, I agree with you. It's unlikely that LS will actually beat GSt3 on voice count on the first release. However, it's good to have appropriate goals. This is just my wish - not a stated goal of the developers.
