We should think about those issues over the long term. Sadly I dont think thats possible - encryption/security always relies on some secret, and there are no secrets in (purely) open source software. An option might be a closed-source licence server (for networks of machines), best would be if we could use an existing, trusted UNIX licence server, like the one matlab uses. Even then its really hard. - Steve |
