I guess you're speaking about the overall volume of LS, right? If yes, I will 
add a command line switch for the global volume in LS with my next commit. 
You're absolutely right, that the volume is a bit low on many machines, we 
just set it that low, to avoid distortions with some sound cards. With the 
command line option you will be able to raise the overall level and when Rui 
finished our initial GUI you will be able to set such things by just doing 
some clicks.
