I agree Mark, the important thing is that the velocity curves are reasonably
similar to those of GSt. The quantization behavior is completely silly IMHO.
I think you should go different route: you should try do load your GIG libs
and look what kind of curves they use, then take let's say the 5 most frequent
curves and map them approximately to values using the sinewave samples.
