Hi Mark,

it sounds as if you got the version from sourceforge.net (as I did)

the real version is at:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/home/schropp/linuxsampler 
co linuxsampler

just typeing make after it downloaded worked for me.
