Still plodding along with Swami/libInstPatch DLS2 etc development. Its a lot of work, so it will continue to take a while as long as I'm the only one working on it, hint hint :) Currently lost in the task of making the Swami GUI pluggable enough to support multiple patch formats, although libInstPatch already supports loading DLS2. Also re-writing many of the widgets (piano, key/velocity splits, sample viewer) to use the GnomeCanvas (which doesn't actually depend on Gnome BTW), which will allow for more flexibility (overlaying different controls on the same canvas) and better handling of scaling (piano at any size). |
