I think it makes lots of sense right now to keep the volume low. I
you had been planning on adding a command line switch for volume, that's
fine, but I'm not asking for it. Things are fine the way they are. I was
just reporting data, not asking for changes.
By way of comparison, I spent a lot of time Sunday afternoon playing
with levels in GSt and dealing with some distortions there. I ended up
finding that the level differences between LS and GSt weren't that
different if I wanted GSt to not distort on high polyphony counts, so
maybe things aren't that far off of a good setting right now.
Far more preferred would be the MIDI hookup command line switch.
That's still a pain as I change gig files... ;-)
