There are patches floating around that convert the tty stuff into a proper kthread that can be given sched_fifo priority. You'll have to port those or do something similar yourself. Recently there has been some talk on LKML on just this topic, namely getting "low_latency" to actually do something again. But I wouldn't hold your breath. HTH, Richard |
