I have three nodes and one of them is master only and the others are slave only. The configuration I used is configs/automotive-master.cfg <https://github.com/richardcochran/linuxptp/blob/master/configs/automotive-master.cfg> and configs/automotive-slave.cfg <https://github.com/richardcochran/linuxptp/blob/master/configs/automotive-slave.cfg> without L2 related configs (I want to run the ptp4l on L3). Let's say master is M and slaves are S1 and S2 and consider all things are working good. - When M restarts, S1 and S2 stop synchronizing. They decided to select the local clock as the best clock. - When S1 restarts, M and S2 keep synchronizing, but S1 decided to select the local clock as the best clock. Is this intended behavior or did I misconfigure something? Thanks. |
