Subject: [Linuxptp-users] Issue in running gPTP Hi All, We want to run linuxPTP with intel i210 NIC cards.For this , We compiled the linux kernel with version 3.5.0 and enabled PTP in it and also installed igb driver in the machine.But when running linuxPTP with command: ./ptp4l -f gPTP.cfg -i eth4 then it shows message PTP device is not specified and automatic determination is not supported.Please specify PTP device . But when I check for PTP device in the folder /dev/ , there is no PTP device specified. Can anyone Please help me in this. Thanks for your help in advance. regards Aman |
