[Linuxptp-users] How to use DEBUG = -DDEBUG

Hi all,
I know that -l9 command line switch gives a verbose output.

Still, I have been wondering what is DEBUG flag in Makefile used for
and how to enable debugging messages?

I tried with DEBUG = -DDEBUG, but I did not noticed change.
