Hello to all,
This is my first message to this list. My english is very bad... sorry
about that!
At last two years I'm working with Plutohome in Brazil, since version
2.0.0.3x of
Plutohome, and one of my dreams is port Plutohome to Ubuntu!
I have a lot of hardware here, like Haupauge PVR-250, slim devices, IP
cameras, Treo and Nokia cell phones and more.
I don't use Debian anymore since Ubuntu Dapper Drake become more intuitive
and stable than ever.
Well, first of all, Pluthome doesn't have a "deb-src"
repository, so I can't do an "apt-get build-dep pluto-orbiter" for example.
My ideal is to do something like that:
1) Install Ubuntu Server/Desktop;
2) Change sources.list addind universe and multiverse to all distros (aka
feisty, feisty-updates, feisty-security...);
3) Add two extra lines to sources.list to LinuxMCE project (deb and
deb-src);
4) aptitude update;
5) aptitude install plutohome.
That's my dream becomes reallity!
I'm think plutohome package will be a meta-package, or a task, or maybe
like LAMP...
Best regards,
Thiago
