Hello Nicholas, There was a feature request by Havelock some time ago that the site should provide the possibility to rename one's hardware scans. This way, you can easier distinguish your scans on your "My Hardware Profile" page if you uploaded several scans. Until now, only scan date, distribution, kernel version was shown. Since I am currently modifying (hopefully improve) the web page aspect where the scan uploaders can insert their hardware into the database, I I also implemented this requested function which now allows setting of free designations for your scans. Currently lots of hardware scans are uploaded. More that I can handle by myself to integrate them into the DB. Therefore, I am currently trying to modify two major aspects: 1) All registered users (with sufficient amount of Karma points) should be able to publish hardware articles. Currently, some details are only possible to be set by administrators. 2) Improve how scan uploaders can add information for their hardware components so that less needs to be "polished" before finally publishing them.
