This is targeted towards the North American market.  Their schtick is
cheap and "disposable" as opposed to some models that challenge a desktop
in price.

The unit is a little larger than I had hoped and would probably require a
custom mounting.  The contrast can be adjusted so that regulation
switch height mounting is readable.  The pixels are monochrome (on or off,
no gray).  The EL backlight is quite bright.

The Sx00Plus models seem to have a slightly different SDK that the one I
pointed out yesterday.  It can be found here:

There are a handful of user sites out there, mostly EU centric, so
discussions tend to center around the Sx60 products.
