Howdy ho.

Was spelunking Target the other night for ??? and so as not to be a
complete waste of time I decided to browse a bit.  In the not-quite-PDA
section I came across Cassio's Pocket Viewer line.  $40-50, Backlit,
touchscreen, 160x160 (monochrome) pixel display with RS-232.

And a website for an SDK.

The only downer is that there doesn't seem to be an external power
connector (Duh, that's why they call it "Pocket"...)  Thanks to the magic
of the Game Boy, the world is full of 3V power adapters...

I think I found my missing link: a cheap graphical smart switch.
