[linuxguide-readers] i can't see

dear linux users,

a friend of mind recently installed a new and improved video card on my computer while i was out of town.  windows automatically detects the new card, but linux obviously does not.  so, when i boot up from LILO, linux seems to load ok, but there is nothing for me to see.  i have debian version 2.2.  any suggestions?  i am a novice with linux, but i would like to continue to play around with it.  thanks for your help.
