Hi friends,
I have WinME, win2k on my system (Pentium4)with 60gb hard
disk and 256mb ram.with 20gb primary,20gb extended and 20
unpartitioned. I made c and d drives. I installed WinME on c and
win2000 on d. Now I tried to install Linux7.0. While I am doing
partitions thru disk drude to /, /boot, /swap then the message, No
free Primary available is displaying. I tried so many ways...but same
problem.
So I made two partitions with / and swap only (no /boot). I didn't
install lilo in MBR. I installed in boot sector of the linux
partition only. While I tried to create boot disk...error occured
while creating booting...I tried no of times but not able to create
boot disk floppy. So I am not able to boot thru Linux.
Can anybody guide me how to install linux by eliminating
these problems...in advance thanks.
