Linux for mobile - currently working on for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (mido) Apparently this was all as obvious a thing to do as I thought it was. All these configure scripts and make files and environmental variables that all don't quite work with cross compiling. But it looks like buildroot (https://buildroot.org) is working and easy to use. I couldn't have hoped for more, I wish I'd found it earlier. So I'm going put a defconfig for buildroot up, and put together some package files for what I'm adding as well as scripts so setup the images if I can't the buildroot files to do it.
