[Linuxdc-users] Questions from a n00b

I'm very interested in get a my dreamcast to operate like a web-console
via LinuxDC.  Is it ready to do such a thing?  I have the broadband
adapter (got it a few weeks ago and it's still in box) and the ethernet
connection should be coming soon.

Is there a good step-by-step guide on how to burn an image to a CD?
is there already an image ready to be burnt?
how long before the dist. can so the normal things (web-browsing, telnet,
multimedia)? 
Is there a good method to store data between power-ons (maybe a network
drive on a real computer)?
Am I asking too many question?
