[linuxdc-dev] Dreamcast problems with 2.6 linux kernel

After more experimentation the most fundamental problem of booting the
Dreamcast with recent (2.6.12) linux kernels seems to be something to do
with the operation of dcload-ip (or dc-tool-ip). (Kernels uploaded via
serial cable seem to work, but loaded via bba fail)

Is anyone aware of any possible reason for this? Or has anybody been
able to build a recent kernel and boot it over the bba?
