I've compiled links-2.1pre7 with :
gpm-1.20.0
zlib-1.1.4 (for libpng I think)
jpegsrc.v6b
ncurses-5.3
libpng-1.2.5 (taken from http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/libpng.html)
tiff-v3.6.0-beta

You need all these libs.
I launched the command "./configure --enable-javascript --with-libfl
=2D-enable-graphics --enable-static --without-x" iirc ;-)
