There is now a block device driver for the vmu in the cvs. This is very 
closely modelled on the existing mtdblock driver - though is, IMHO, better 
suited to a small footprint system like the DC (it's amaller code), 
particularly with its small erase size on its flash (it doesn't employ the 
same cacheing mechanism).

But I know other disagree, so use it before it gets bombed out of the CVS by 
someone more important than me!
