[linuxdc-dev]Very odd behaviour - any clues?

I wrote the driver and tested against the Naki runble pack I had. Works fine, 
apart from an odd hot plugging bug I have been dealing with...

But the SEGA pack behaves 'oddly' in that - driver correctly identifies it 
and is associalted with it.

But when I attempt to play an effect it appears to reset the device/whole 
maple bus - generating a whole set of disconnection/connection messages - 
anybody any ideas as to what causes this sort of behaviour?
