Okay, well nobody has come back to me on this in the last 42 hours or so, so 
I assume there are no obvious problems (but have any of you actually tested 
it?).

I need to add it into the CVS and I propose to do that in 
/drivers/char/joystick as that is where the iforce driver (the only other FF 
driver extant AFAICS) lives in the kernel tree. Make sense?

I am also aware I need to add a makefile and a menuconfiguration file - 
though I have to confess I don't know quite how to go about this :-<. Reading 
up on it now....
