Doesn't belong in maple much at all.. This looks a lot like something that's
begging to be implemented through v4l (Video4Linux). See drivers/media/vide=
o..

Too bad we can't automagically taint the kernel if a bastard maple device is
plugged in.. would serve the user right for hooking one of those abominatio=
