The objective (well, I would call it requirement)  was to split it up to=20
smaller pieces.
No one would look at a patch about 150K, it contains too many changes at=20
once.
Smaller logical pieces can be reviewed easily and accepted into the -mm=20
tree first
even if it breaks something.
