Aivils' solution of not resetting the hardware on
[xkg]dm logout sounds like a sufficient solution to
the Nvidia driver errors. We do not(!!) want logout to
reset the Nvidia driver, since that's exactly what
causes the problems. On the other hand, you do want to
retain <ctrl><alt><bkspc> to reset the card. That's
what it's intended for, isn't it?
