Faketty vs. Ruby

I may be jumping the gun, but anyway.

In this setup:
Epox-EP8vtai mobo + XP 2700+ thoroughbred CPU
AGP TNT2 + PCI MX-440
Linux distro: Debian Stable
Kernel: vanilla 2.6.11

I have installed Aivils' Faketty + Hijacled.

The X on the secondary monitor runs as usual. No
problems.

But on the primary monitor, Ruby's problems have
disappeared:
- Screens no longer disappearing or blanked.
- Keystrokes from secondary keyboard no longer bleed
over to vc textscreens on primary monitor.
- Meta keycodes work.
- Mouse gpm works with pasting.

All very encouraging. Am running with it right now.

Aivils' has described what it does in the various
recent posts under different subject headers.

For my setup I had to reverse the ftty links and the
install has to be tweaked for Debian.
