Hello again,

For the record, I did finally manage to get two Radeon 7000 cards working 
on the Abit AV8 Athlon64 motherboard.  The solution, as previously posted 
here, was to set the PCI card as the boot display in the BIOS.  In my 
case, that was only possible after an updated BIOS was released earlier 
this month, as the previous BIOS had a problem with this configuration.
