Logout problems

Hi all,
  I am running a 4 terminal pc with 3 8MB PCI VGA card and one on board
intel 810 vga.
I am using 915 chipset and a p4 2.6 GHz processor.
The problem i'm facing is, when i am logging out from 3rd or 4th
terminal, or both, the x server is trying to cme again, but hangs up. i
tried ctrl-alt-bkspace, 2-3 times, the 4th display came, but still the
third is hanging up. wat wat is the problem?. any work around
