I see you runs ruby on a 64-bit amd cpu. I do so too, but only in 32-bit mode. Have you succeeded in running ruby in 64-bit mode? I have compiled and booted such a kernel, but I cannot get both xservers up. The bios will only initialize one card, the other is initialized by X, using int10. With a 64-bit kernel (and a 64-bit xserver), the xserver quits with no message instead of running the int10 initialization. Is something extra needed to make this work with amd64? Or is it currently impossible? Is there any way at all to have an extra video card initialized? I have not been able to find any information at all about this issue. Helge Hafting |
