never said such a thing,
what i said was that the patch is included in the 
Mandrake X.org packages and in Debian's sid XFree86

the patch is not included upstream :(
i posted it  2-3 times to x.org's ml but never got an reply
so the best coments we have are from Zoltan's request for Fedora 3
