Problem with 2.4 backstreet ruby

Hi,
 Now i am running a 3 headed PC with redhat Linux and 2.4.22-bruby
kernel. I wan't to extend it to four terminals. for that i tested with a
intel 865 MB. But the problem is that when the kernel is booting up the
USB devices are getting disabled. I tested the setup on an Asus/Nvidia
MB and there is the problem that when the kernel boots up one of the USB
devices getting disabled. wat is the problem?
