ruby patch for 2.6.9

Hello!

I have prepared a patch to use ruby for 2.6.9. It is not done very well
(for instance CTRL+ALT+<NUMBER> does not work to switch from X to a conso=
le
window) and I have not tested the framebuffer console - but otherwise it
works. Maybe somebody w/ more knowledge of the code can use this to prepa=
re
a good patch.
