That particular radeon turned out to be broken. I finally pulled the AGP card so the PCI radeon became the only one. The pc booted but there were vertical stripes only on the screen - the colors were recogniseable but that was it! So it looks like the int10 thing in xfree works - but the card itself is broken and I am exchanging it. Seems I have real bad luck with hardware. Helge Hafting |
