Hi,

I noticed your first post a couple of days ago.
I cannot give any firsthand info because I don't
use RH9 nor the 2.4.22 patch. (Debian + 2.4.21 patch)
What I would try is either of 2 things: another
distrib or another patch. If (1) is difficult,
try the 2.4.21 patch.
I stand to be corrected but I don't think your
prob. has to do with Bruby but with the distrib.

I presume the patch went on without errors and
the kernel compiled clean too and you have
switched kernels before on RH9?
