Multi-desktop HOWTO?

There exists two ways.

Mine donot like framebuffer devices. I create kernel patch without fb
device
support, but multiple XFree work well. Latest is

linuxconsole.sf.net lead maintainer donot like XFree and multiple
framebuffer terminals
are not complete. Because framebuffer console code is messy , rather 2.5.xx
ruby is broken,
but may work.

As tetster You can test both versions, because code and troubles mostly is
identic.
