Mulit Simultanious X Users

I am interested running multiple independent X servers on a multiheaded box
to server multiple concurrent X users.  I have read some info at
startx.times.lv but it seems to be centered arround 2.4.  I am looking to use 2.6/3.0 in
a future production (public library) environment.
