Correct. When you change the font it changes all the VCs. Same for
resizing the screen via the VT layer.

Yes it will be possible. You will also be able to resize the resolution
per vc. I don't have a list of API changes yet. The userland interface is
pretty much the same. The difference is the number of consoles per
desktop. We will have 16 instead of 64. The second change which I don't
know if it will go into 2.5.X is tty0 being the foreground console will go
away.
