Can you send me your .config file? I like to see your setting.
The only thing that could have caused this problem is the console lock but
I have made that transparent to the console drivers now :-) It could have
been a problem with bust spinlock. I did a bunch of changes just a little
bit ago which I commited. Give the new code a try.
