Subject: Serial Console & Sysrq
Hi
I am having the following problem: I am not able to configure
the sysrq key for the serial console. I have configured the serial
console correctly, as stated in the Documentation/serial-console.txt.
I have a serial console working OK. I can indeed use it in lilo to
change kernels using break. I have also configured the Sysrq key and
it works great while I am using a normal keyboard. The problem is
that I am not able to use the serial console BREAK key to get a Sysrq.
I am using the minicom program. I am running a getty in the serial
terminal. It makes no difference if I am logged or not.
lines in lilo.conf:
serial=0,9600n8
append="console=ttyS0,9600"
I have followed all the steps in Documentation/serial-console.txt and
Documentation/sysrq.txt.
If you know that Sysrq over serial console is not working for nobody
or you can give me any suggestion, they are welcome.
TIA, Juan.
