*chuckle*  I chopped way too much out of that one :)  ok, the conversation 
was about just using /dev/inputX and /dev/fb, and doing the multi-heading in 
userspace.  You agreed that it was the way to go for multi-head aware 
programs.  I'm asking if it's possible for a user-space program to create a 
device.  if it can, we could synthasize VT devices in userland, redirecting 
them through our app to the framebuffer.
